The governor of Wisconsin keeps adding priorities to his proposal for the state budget.
Governor Tony Evers stated Tuesday that the state’s prosecutors and prison guards must receive pay raises.
According to Governor Evers, the state’s D.A. offices are being harmed by low pay.
He is seeking a raise of $13 per hour for Wisconsin prison guards.
According to the Republicans who will actually write the new state budget, they may agree to a raise, but it won’t come close to the $13 the governor wants.
