
The 911 call about a threat at the high school that was made yesterday, according to Chippewa Falls police, was made by an elementary school student.
A series of 911 calls, the majority of which contained slurs, led investigators to the young student.
However, one of the calls, according to police, mentioned an active shooter at the high school.
The superintendent of Chippewa Falls sent a note to parents explaining the situation and stating that there was never a real threat.
According to the police, the situation is being handled by the young caller’s parents.
