The Fond du Lac Police Department is looking into a shooting that occurred late last week.
A witness reported hearing gunfire at around 11:15 p.m. Friday in the area of W. Follett and Doty Streets. Police searched the area that evening but did not locate anyone.
The next morning, an officer was sent to the 200 block of Doty Street when an individual reported damage to their vehicle and detached garage.
During that investigation, casings from a handgun were located, along with more property damage.
