The month of March started on a down note for motorists in Eastern Wisconsin.
According to the AAA Gas Prices webpage, the average price per gallon of fuel in Manitowoc County jumped up 15 cents over the past week to $3.30, and that was one of the smallest increases in the area.
Sheboygan County reported a 19-cent increase to $3.26, while Calumet County saw the biggest jump, up 29 cents to $3.30 per gallon.
Outagamie County motorists are paying 21 cents more per gallon, now averaging $3.22, while Brown County is up 22 cents to $3.24.
Kewaunee County’s average is up 11 cents to $3.21, and Door County reported the smallest increase, up a nickel to $3.26.
The state average is up 13 cents from last week, now averaging $3.24, while the national average is also up a nickel to $3.40.
