
One of the Three men charged with the death of Jason Mendez-Ramos in Green Bay has been convicted.
The trial for Pedro Santiago Marquez started on Monday, and the jury deliberated for about an hour Thursday before voting to find him guilty.
Santiago-Marquez, Jeisaac Rodriguez-Garcia, and Alexander Burgos-Mojica were all arrested shortly after the body Mendez-Ramos was located on the UW Green Bay campus burning in a ditch.
Santiago-Marquez will be sentenced on May 30th.
Rodriguez-Garcia is scheduled to stand trial on April 19th, while Burgos-Mojica’s trial is on the books for April 5th.
