Tolls are once again being discussed by the top Republican in the Wisconsin Assembly.
Assembly Speaker Robin Vos told reporters Wednesday that he will investigate the possibility of charging tolls on Wisconsin’s interstates to pay for road construction and maintenance.
Vos has talked about a tollway system in Wisconsin for a long time, but he hasn’t been able to get enough people to support it.
Vos stated that he is open to the concept, but that he does not believe the governor and other Republican legislators are “there yet.”
