Bail is set at $25,000 cash for a 23-year-old Manitowoc facing numerous charges including sexually assaulting a child.
Trenton George Ploederl is being charged with Lewd/Lascivious acts of sex, Gratification in the presence of others, and two counts each of Sexual Assault of a Child, Trafficking a Child, and Strangulation.
The victim contacted Manitowoc Police on February 3rd saying they had contacted Ploederl for help as she was experiencing car trouble at Red Arrow Park.
He picked her up and proceeded to take her to his home where he allegedly raped her with someone else in the room.
Several weeks later he picked her up at a city park and allegedly raped her a second time telling the victim that she told anyone he would “do it again.”
Conditions of bail are that Ploederl is to maintain absolute sobriety and is to have no contact with the victim or anyone under the age of 18, with the exception of his minor child.
He remains in the County Jail with his initial appearance scheduled for March 6th at 1:30 p.m.
