Big Brothers Big Sisters of WI Shoreline (BBBS) is teaming up with Hall of Famer LeRoy Butler and the NFL Inspire Change initiative to empower youth through mentorship.
While the NFL is drafting the next generation of players, BBBS is drafting the next generation of mentors.
LeRoy Butler, a former All-Pro safety and Green Bay Packers Hall of Famer, is known for his philanthropic work, and is a champion for mentoring programs that aim to positively impact children’s lives.
Denise Wittstock, CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of WI Shoreline, is enthusiastic about the partnership, saying “As someone dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of children, we couldn’t be luckier to have LeRoy Butler as a partner.”
Currently, there are 165 youth waiting for mentors in Sheboygan and Manitowoc Counties, with 67 percent of those being boys.
Individuals interested in becoming a mentor can visit BigDraftWI.org to learn more and sign up to become a Big Brother or Big Sister today.
