The month of February was good for motorists in our area as gas prices dropped or stayed the same each week this month.
According to the AAA Gas Prices webpage, the average price per gallon of fuel fell seven cents in Manitowoc County over the last seven days, now sitting at $3.15, while Sheboygan County saw a three-cent dip to $3.07.
Calumet and Outagamie Counties both reported nine-cent declines down to $3.01, while Brown County’s average is down eight cents to $3.02.
Kewaunee County motorists are paying three cents less per gallon compared to last week, now averaging $3.10, while Door County’s average is down two cents to $3.19 per gallon.
The state average is down four cents to $3.009 while the national average is at $3.35, a decline of five cents.
The average price in the seven-county area we cover fell 20 cents over the month of February, starting at $3.28 per gallon, and ending the month at $3.08.
