The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department says the deaths of two residents in The Town of Rhine are the result of a Domestic Homicide/Suicide.
Captain Matt Spence says the deceased are 56-year-old Doulas Lax and his 61-year-old wife Jane Fontaine.
The Sheboygan County Emergency Communications Center received a call from a citizen last Friday morning reporting the deceased in a residence on Little Elkhart Lake Road.
An investigation determined that Lax used a firearm to kill his wife and then used the same firearm to kill himself.
Law enforcement encourages anyone that maybe living in fear to please reach out for help to avoid possible tragic outcomes such as serious injury or death.
