The Green Bay Metro Fire Department had to work through the snow last night to battle a fire on the east side of the city.
The Department shared on Twitter that they were on the scene of a fire in the 1100 block of North Van Buren Street just after 10:00 last night.
Very little is known about the situation, but the Department declared the fire under control at 10:40 p.m., but crews remained on site for a while longer to conduct salvage and overhaul work and to ventilate the structure.
At last word, the cause and origin of the fire are not known.
