One of the hardest parts of a local election for voters is getting to know the candidates.
In national, or even statewide elections, voters can look back on what these candidates have done in their previous roles in government or in court to determine whom they would like to see in office.
Locally, sometimes the candidates have never held a political office before.
So, the Sheboygan branch of the American Association of University Women will be holding a series of candidate forums to help educate the public on who is running.
These will be held March 7th, 8th, and 9th in the Council Chambers in City Hall, and will include the candidates for Aldermanic Districts 1 and 7 that Tuesday, 3, 5, and 9 on Wednesday, and the School Board candidates on Thursday.
If you are unable to attend in person, the forum will be recorded and aired on Spectrum channel 990 and on WSCS’s YouTube Channel through the April election.
