
A 22-year-old Green Bay man is in custody today and is identified as a suspect in a reported stabbing at the Islamic Society of Wisconsin in Green Bay.
Police officers were sent to 1512 Velp Avenue on the city’s west side just before 3:45 p.m. yesterday when they found the victim and arrested the suspect.
The incident sent a 52-year-old Green Bay man to a local hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
Authorities say they don’t believe this was a random incident as the attacker and victim are known to each other.
The investigation is continuing.
