Visitors to Manitowoc’s Wisconsin Maritime Museum this Sunday will be able to learn about the actual experience of living and working on a World War II submarine with 80 men for two months.
Submarine Veteran Greg Miller will conduct an in-depth tour aboard the U.S.S. Cobia, docked behind the museum along the Manitowoc River from 1 until 4:00 p.m. Sunday.
The Cobia “Diving Deeper Tour” lasts between two and three hours and focuses more on personal stories and less on technology.
The tour is not recommended for children 12 and under, due to its length.
Those interested in the offering can visit the Museum Store to purchase tickets.
Officials say space is limited.
