State Senator Andre Jacque has filed a lawsuit against the Mayor of Green Bay.
Sen. Jacque, along with a former Green Bay City Council member, and an anonymous individual, is asking the court to force the removal of the hidden microphones located in various locations in City Hall.
A senate lawyer is also calling for the destruction of any and all recordings.
The lawsuit claims the devices are an invasion of privacy, while the City says they are lawful and will be posting signs alerting people of their existence.
The microphones were places in some hallways last winter, but city officials were not informed of them until last month.
