Officials have identified the Appleton woman who died in a crash in Fond du Lac County over the weekend.
According to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office, 22-year-old Briana Lynae Thompson died at the scene of the crash on Highway 26 Sunday evening.
Thompson was reportedly driving north on 26 near Cattaraugus Road in the Township of Waupun when she crossed the center line.
She then collided with a southbound SUV, which also included a 60-year-old Waupun woman.
The Sheriff’s Office note that speed and inattentive driving were contributing factors in the crash.
