The man who fired a weapon near Westfield Park in Manitowoc just over a year ago has been sentenced.
18-year-old Jordan-Anthony Roberson was before Judge Jerilyn Dietz yesterday where a prison sentence was withheld.
Roberson will spend three years on probation after he was found guilty due to no-contest pleas on charges of Discharging a Firearm within 100 Yards of a Building, and two counts of Felony Bail Jumping. Charges of 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Misdemeanor Bail Jumping, and Discharging a Firearm Toward a Person were dismissed but read into the record.
Roberson was one of two people arrested in February of last year after a physical altercation near Westfield Park ended with shots being fired.
No injuries were reported, and a second suspect was arrested.
17-year-old Caiden Peterson will be back in court on March 22nd for a status conference.
