Homeschool families are invited to the Manitowoc County Historical Society next month to learn about Wisconsin’s rich lumber history, their diets, and the maple sugar season. T
he class will be held on March 16th, at 924 Pinecrest Road in Manitowoc.
Children will be able to try their hand at tapping a tree, sawing a log, or flipping a flapjack.
Costumed educators will talk about maple’s magic, and teach about the backwoods skills necessary for adventures in the sugarbush.
The Historical Society says the ideal age for students in this class would be ages 4 to 17, and that registration is due by March 9th.
