A Chilton woman has been sentenced for a couple of different cases.
First, 54-year-old Cheryl A. Edwards was found guilty due to no-contest pleas on two counts of Forgery and three counts of Felony Bail Jumping while 80 other charges were dismissed but read into the record.
Manitowoc County Judge Robert Dewane withheld his sentence and placed Edwards on six years of probation.
Additionally, Judge Dewane ordered her to spend 30 days in the County Jail after she was found guilty due to a no-contest plea on a charge of Escaping Criminal Arrest as a repeater.
Edwards was supposed to be in court on February 26th, 2020 but failed to show up.
This led to a warrant being issued for her arrest.
As a part of her probation, Edwards was ordered to maintain full-time employment, schooling, or a combination of the two, and pay restitution of over $6,000 to Citibank, Discover, and Fidelity.
