A 19-year-old Manitowoc man arrested on a child sex charge is free on $6,000 cash bail.
Joseph William Drews is facing charges of Second-Degree Sexual Assault of a Child and Intimidation of a victim.
Detectives spoke to the victim earlier in the week, who claimed that she has been raped by Drews.
He then allegedly the n grabbed a gun, which was discovered to be an airsoft BB gun, that if she told anybody he would “shoot up” her house.
When speaking to officers, Drews claimed that it was the victim that had taken both his and her pants off.
After hearing from both parties, he was taken into custody.
The lone condition of bail is that Drews is to have no contact with the victim.
His initial court appearance is scheduled for March 6th at 1:30.
