The Two Rivers City Council is continuing to make progress on the behind-the-scenes part of the upcoming upgrades to Neshotah Beach and Park.
Seehafer News spoke with City Manager Greg Buckley earlier this week, who told us that have accepted a bid for the installation of new playground equipment.
He told us, “Council did unanimously approve the bid from Play Power lt., which is an official representative of Little Tikes Commercial, for $359,053.50”
That bid was specifically for supplying equipment and installing it at Neshotah Park.
That leaves the site prep work on the city.
“There is also about $50,000 in the budget for site prep in that area prior to the installation of the equipment,” Buckley explained.
That work will be either done by the city crews or by a contractor.
Buckley did not supply a timeline for that project.
