More details about a shooting in Green Bay are coming to light.
According to information from the Green Bay Police Department, officers knew within hours of the shooting that claimed the life of one man and left another injured that they were looking for Omar and Jose Hernandez.
The brothers had gotten into an argument with another set of brothers on Saturday (February 11th) at a restaurant.
This led to an altercation in the 900 block of Clayton Place where the deadly shots were fired.
A witness was able to give a detailed description of the Hernandez brothers, who were quickly located and surveilled by an undercover officer at a nearby home.
When they got in a car to leave, backup was called, and the vehicle was pulled over in a high-risk traffic stop.
Omar reportedly told police “It was me. I did it.”
He is being held on a $1 million cash bond, while Jose had his bond set at $750,000 cash.
Both are charged with First Degree Intentional Homicide and Attempted First Degree Intentional Homicide.
