Freshman Mason Dopirak was named Raider of the Week for the Milwaukee School of Engineering after two high-scoring performances in close ballgames.
The former Manitowoc Lincoln athlete averaged 24.5 points per game as MSOE split a pair of tight games last week.
Mason scored 21 in a 71-70 loss to Marian University last Tuesday, before tallying 28 in a 75-73 overtime victory versus Dominican.
Dopirak also averaged 6 rebounds per game and shot nearly 60% from the field against the Sabres and Stars in what was his 3rd ROTW honor this season.
Tuesday night, Mason and younger brother Matus Dopirak were in De Pere where the Raiders dropped a 69-57 decision to St. Norbert College.
Mason tallied 10 points in a losing effort while Matus dropped in 8 points to go along with 5 rebounds.
MSOE (10-and-13 overall, 6-and-10 in the NACC) closes out the season at Hotchkin Arena Saturday afternoon against Wisconsin Lutheran.
