Bail is set at $1,000 cash for a 21-year-old Manitowoc man who was taken into custody last weekend after police found a large amount of drugs in his vehicle.
Ronald J. Burrows III has been charged with Possession of Marijuana With Intent to Deliver, Possession of Cocaine and Ecstasy, and a Schedule two Narcotic.
Police spotted a vehicle parked near Cabin One at Lincoln Park last Sunday night and approached to investigate.
An officer noticed a distinct smell of marijuana when Burrows rolled down his window.
He said that he and a female passenger were just “hanging out”.
Burrows later admitted that he had marijuana in his car.
A subsequent search uncovered approximately a half-pound of pot along with cocaine, ecstasy, Percocet, and Adderall.
The lone condition of bail is that Burrows must maintain absolute sobriety.
He remains in The County Jail with his initial appearance scheduled for February 20th at 1:30 p.m.
