
The man accused of killing two women in Green Bay late last month had his first appearance for this case in Brown County Court yesterday.
Richard Sotka was before Court Commissioner Paul Burke who set his bail at $2 million cash.
Sotka is accused of killing 58-year-old Rhonda Cegelski of Green Bay and 53-year-old Paula O’Connor of Bellevue.
He is due back in Court on February 22nd for a preliminary hearing as he faces two counts of 1st Degree Intentional Homicide with Use of a Dangerous Weapon, one of which also has a Domestic Violence enhancer, and one count of Felony Bail Jumping.
Sotka was arrested in Arkansas, where he spent a week in jail before being extradited back to Brown County.
