Police in Manitowoc have arrested a man who was found to be in possession of a large amount of drugs.
An officer spotted a car parked by Cabin 1 in Lincoln Park just before 8:30 Sunday evening and approached the vehicle to investigate.
When the window was opened, the officer reported the distinct smell of marijuana.
The man in the driver’s seat said that he and his female passenger were “hanging out” and denied having any weed in the car.
When he was asked to get out of the car, the man relented and admitted to having the drug in his car.
Backup was called, and a subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered roughly half a pound of marijuana, along with cocaine, Ecstasy, Percocet, and Adderall.
The 20-year-old man was arrested on charges of Possession with Intent to Deliver THC, and Possession of Cocaine, Ecstasy, and a Schedule II Narcotic.
