A sports rarity occurred at a high school basketball game in Valders over the weekend.
Not one but two seniors on the Vikings boy’s basketball team reached the 1,000-point mark in their prep careers during an 82-61 nonconference win over Destiny of Milwaukee Saturday night.
Both Jackson Olson and Cole Hove achieved the milestone.
Hove led Valders with 33 points while Olson chipped in 16 as the Vikings improved to 13-and-6 this season.
