
A former church in Reedsville that was remodeled into a home caught fire late last week.
Crews were sent to the structure at around 5:00 p.m. Friday to find smoke emitting from the building. Crews entered the building and located the fire in the former bell tower.
They gained access to it by going through the roof and was extinguished.
The cause of the fire was said to be electrical in nature, and no injuries were reported.
Assisting Reedsville Fire and Rescue were fire crews from Brillion, Valders, Wayside, Potter, Whitelaw, and Mitchellville, as well as the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Department and Manitowoc County Dispatch.
