About a week after the infamous Chinese balloon was shot down, another object was shot down by military jets.
This one was a “high altitude object” that was flying over Lake Huron.
Very little information has been released regarding the object, but Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson has released a statement.
He praised the pilots and the Department of Defense, saying “I appreciate DoD’s notification to my office of the actions they took in downing yet another ‘foreign object’ over Lake Huron.”
He went on to say, “Maximum transparency on what they learn about these objects is essential. We need to preemptively take the necessary steps to keep our nation safe.”
