
A Manitowoc woman is facing charges after she allegedly stabbed her boyfriend.
Officers with the Manitowoc Police Department were dispatched to a residence in the 900 block of South 26th Street at 1:30 Wednesday afternoon to investigate an injured individual.
Officers spoke with the man who said he and his 33-year-old girlfriend had gotten into an argument earlier in the day, which ended with the woman going into the kitchen and grabbing a knife.
She returned, stabbed the victim, smirked, and threw the knife on the floor.
She then reportedly went to work.
Officers located the suspect, who claimed she was only trying to scare the victim.
A bag in the residence belonging to the suspect was searched, and it was found to contain marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
The woman was arrested on charges of 2nd Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety with a Domestic Violence enhancer, as well as Possession of THC as a Repeater, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and three counts of Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
