A Manitowoc man convicted of delivering drugs has been sentenced.
27-year-old Kyle A. Mesna previously was found guilty due to a no-contest plea on a charge of Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver, and Judge Mark Rohrer has ordered him to spend 2 years in prison followed by three years of extended supervision.
Mesna was arrested on January 12th of last year, after he failed to stop at a stop sign.
The officer noted that Mesna was acting suspiciously, and the vehicle was known to be associated with drugs.
K-9 Major was called to the scene and gave a positive hit on the vehicle.
Upon his release, Mesna will have to maintain absolute sobriety as well as full-time employment, schooling, or a combination.
