Three Green Bay residents are without a home following a house fire over the weekend.
The Green Bay Metro Fire Department was called to a home in the 1100 block of Emile Street just before 6:00 yesterday evening.
Crews arrived to find flames emitting from a second-floor apartment.
The blaze was quickly extinguished and was determined to have started in the kitchen.
One man was transported to a local hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation but is said to be in stable condition.
Fire crews were also able to successfully remove two dogs, three cats, and a snake from the residence, and they are said to be in safe and stable condition as well.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
