The Two Rivers City Council met earlier this week in a work session where they made some amendments to the City’s Personnel Policy.
City Manager Greg Buckley tells Seehafer News that the one of the big amendments revolved around overtime.
He said they made clearer “the language about overtime on Holidays when employees are called in or days that are not holidays but are being observed as holidays like this last holiday season when Christmas and New Year’s fell on Sunday.”
The Council also set its 2022 City Goals. The City Manager noted that a big part of those goals was related to “community development, infrastructure, [and] city services.”
Those goals have since bene posted at Two-Rivers.org.
The Council will meet again next Monday (February 6th) where Buckley said Council will “consider a resolution relative to the property sale at [L.B. Clarke Middle] School, and also a proposed tree planting initiative involving grants to private property owners. That is coming from the Environmental Advisory Board.”
The meeting will be live-streamed on the City’s Facebook page.
