The Sturgeon Bay Police Department has identified the man that was found dead in a roadway this week.
61-year-old Carl Russel Johnson was found lying in the roadway in the 100 block of South Lansing Avenue on Tuesday.
The cause of death has yet to be determined, however, the medical examiner has indicated that foul play was highly unlikely to have been a factor.
As for what did play a factor, the Police Department has stated that the frigid cold was likely a contributor.
The investigation has been closed on the police end as it has been determined to have not been a criminal case.
