Investigators are trying to figure out what killed a Sturgeon Bay man who was found on the side of the road.
Police reports show that he was found in the 100 block of South Lansing Avenue in Sturgeon Bay just before 7:00 a.m. yesterday.
The identity of the man has not been released, but the Sturgeon Bay Police Department did refer to him as middle-aged and said he was fully dressed for the cold weather.
The Brown County Medical Examiner was called in to aid in the investigation, and an autopsy has been planned.
The exact cause of death or how he ended up where he did has not yet been determined.
