The UW Green Bay Women’s basketball team continues to be one of the best teams in the region as they easily downed the IUPUI Jaguars at the Kress Events Center 76-54.
The Phoenix surged to a 27-10 lead in the first quarter and cruised to the 21 point win.
As a team, UWGB shot nearly 50% from the floor and 25% from beyond the arc while missing only one of their 13 free-throw attempts.
Jenna Guyer led the way with 16 points while Appleton North graduate Sydney Levey tallied 14.
Luxemburg-Casco product Cassie Schiltz also had a great game, draining all five free throws she took en route to a 12-point night while dishing out 3 assists.
UWGB is now 17-4 and on a three-game win streak, which came immediately after an 11-game run was stopped by Youngstown State.
The Phoenix have a few days off before beginning a two-game road trip against Detroit Mercy on Friday (February 3rd), and Oakland on Sunday (February 5th).
