A group of young men and women from the area recently competed in the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Education Advocates Association conference.
The cadets from Two Rivers and Mishicot combined to take part in law enforcement-related events against 25 other teams from 16 departments around Wisconsin.
As a team, they took first place in the Disorderly Conduct scenario, 2nd place in Force Options, and 3rd place in Traffic Stops.
In addition, Mishicot cadet Spencer Loughead took 5th in the male Physical Agility solo event.
Two Rivers Lieutenant Andrew Raatz praised the team, saying “Thank you to Mishicot Officer Brooks and Two Rivers officers Propson and Tobison for training the cadets of both posts and everyone else who helped out. Congratulations to both teams on well-deserved awards!”
