A Sheboygan organization called Sheboygan County For Freedoms is voicing its displeasure after pornographic images were found in some books in the South High School Library.
In a news release, the organizations said they were informed of the books, and went to see them for themselves last Friday.
They said that five books in total were found to be unacceptable in their eyes, including two that were listed as graphic novels.
These books included graphic images of sexual situations, while the other three contained “lewd language and descriptions of mature sex acts”.
The organization has notified the school board, who also reportedly went to see the books.
However, the librarian allegedly took them home.
Sheboygan County For Freedoms is calling on the district to remove the books from that library, and all schools in the district.
