LaVerne H. Bruckschen, age 96, former town of Gibson resident, currently residing at the Bay at Northridge in Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Friday, January 20, 2023.
She is survived by her children: Karen Boettcher, Sandy Hetue, Jackie (David) Loberger, Robert (Diane) Bruckschen, Jim (Tina) Bruckschen, Tom (Julie) Bruckschen, and Patty (Larry) Klein; along with 27 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Adela Riemer; her husband, Bill; two sons-in-law, Don Hetue and Ernie Boettcher; and three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 26, 2023 at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, town of Gibson. Rev. James Heffner will officiate at the service, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the church Thursday morning from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. There will be no Wednesday evening visitation.
