The Wisconsin DNR is inviting everyone to enjoy some free fishing this weekend.
On Free Fishing Weekend, you can drill a hole and drop a line without a fishing license, trout stamp, or salmon stamp, however, all other fishing regulations will remain in effect.
The DNR is encouraging everyone that plans on hitting the lake or river this weekend to review the fishing regulations prior to going out.
They also note that early-season catch and release trout streams are included this weekend, but you do have to release the fish.
