The Appleton Police Department is asking the public to keep an eye out for a convicted sex offender.
51-year-old Paul P. Schmidt was previously convicted on two counts of First Degree Sexual Assault of a Child and is believed to be traveling to the northern part of the state.
Schmidt is a white male standing 5’ 8” tall, weighs 193 pounds, and has blue eyes and brown hair.
He is believed to be driving a 2013 Kia Optima with a license plate number ARJ5907. If see Schmidt, police are warning that you not approach, but rather call the police immediately.
