A home in Two Rivers caught fire early this morning.
According to Captain Eric Isselmann, the Two Rivers Fire Department was called to the home in the 1100 block of 34th Street at 1:30 a.m. where they saw smoke emitting from the first floor.
The lone occupant had already evacuated by the time they arrived, so crews immediately began battling the blaze in a first-floor bedroom.
The fire was under control within half an hour, but not before it caused an estimated $25,000 in damage.
No injuries were reported in the incident, and the occupant was able to return inside at around 3:20 a.m.
