The man charged in the death of a 5-year-old Green Bay girl has pleaded not guilty.
Jordan Leavy-Carter was charged with Second Degree Reckless Homicide, Neglecting a Child Resulting in Death, and Possession of a Firearm as a Convicted Felon.
Skye Blue Evans-Cowley died in October after her equally young cousin accidentally shot her with a gun they were playing with.
The Green Bay Police Department claims that the gun was given to them by Leavy-Carter.
He is being held on a $500,000 cash bond and is due back in court on May 5th for a status conference.
