Things are starting to click for the Manitowoc United JV hockey team.
Coach Mark Hinz’s squad started the season with five straight losses but showed a lot of promise in those games.
Despite losing, Manitowoc scored at least 5 goals in each game, with the exception of a shutout loss to De Pere in game two.
Then, during an away game against WNS, United began to see things come together.
They may have ended the game with a 4-4 tie, but the taste of a victory was in their system.
This past weekend it all came together, as the squad picked up a pair of wins over Madison United, including a 5-0 shutout victory.
They will look to keep that momentum going tonight as they seek their first win on home ice.
The puck will drop at the Manitowoc County Ice Center at 6:45 p.m. as United takes on Waupaca.
