The top Republican in the Wisconsin Senate says they are ‘close’ to supporting a plan for medical marijuana.
Senate Majority Leader Devin LeMahieu of Oostburg said that Republicans in the Senate could support a medical marijuana program as long as there are strong regulations.
He says he doesn’t want someone with back pain to be able to get a pot prescription in Wisconsin.
