A second suspect is facing charges for his role in the theft of a vehicle from outside a Manitowoc Bar.
As we previously reported, Margret Metzger-Meek was arrested after taking a coat off the back of a bar stool at Saucy’s Bar Monday evening.
She was seen on camera with a 40-year-old man.
Metzger-Meek told police that neither she nor the man knew who the coat belonged to and that they had walked to a friend’s house nearby to check the pockets.
When they found the key, Metzger-Meek said that it was the man’s idea to go back to find the car it belonged to.
He then allegedly gave Metzger-Meek nearly 3 grams of methamphetamine for taking the car.
Charges of Operating a Vehicle Without the Owner’s Consent, and Theft, each as Party to the Crime have been filed against the second suspect, along with six counts of felony bail jumping and three counts of Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
