There are a pair of meetings on the calendar for today in the City of Manitowoc.
First up is the Room Tax Commission, which will be in the Council Chambers at 4:30 p.m.
They will get a report regarding tourism initiatives, and another regarding the Room Tax collections.
They will also look over a request to improve the restrooms at the Car Ferry Ticket Office and will get an update on a permanent visitor center.
Then at 6:30 p.m., the Crime Prevention Committee will gather in the Meeting and Training Room at the Manitowoc Police Department.
They will get their usual reports, and will give the public time to voice their input before looking over the latest scams to hit the area, including the prize giveaway email scam.
These are the final meetings for the week in the City of Manitowoc.
