The Manitowoc Lutheran girls basketball team scored early and often last night as they dominated Hilbert 46-19.
The Lancers jumped out to a 29-13 lead at the break and used a stingy defense to hold the Wolves to only six points in the second half.
Marissa Melhorn did a lot of the damage for the Lancers, as she accumulated 17 points, five of which came from the free throw line.
Hilbert’s leading scorer was Riley Polifka, who managed 9 points in the losing effort.
The win improves the Lancer’s record to 9-3 and gives them four straight victories.
They will be off until next Tuesday when they host Random Lake.
Hilbert meanwhile falls to 1-9, as they prepare to take on a dominant Brillion Lions squad on Friday.
