
There are two meetings scheduled for today in the City of Two Rivers.
First up is the Public Utilities Committee, which will be in the Committee Room at 5:00 p.m.
They will look over the planned construction projects for this year, and their intake freezing emergency plan.
Then at 6:00 p.m., the City Council will hold its first meeting of the new year in the Council Chambers.
They will start by holding a public hearing regarding a potential change to the section of the Municipal Code related to floodplain zoning.
City Manager Greg Buckley will also give some staffing updates and will review the candidates for the April City Council election.
The Council will also discuss borrowing $900,000 from the Wisconsin State Trust Fund Loan Program for the purpose of funding a Developer Grant for Tax Incremental District No. 16.
