Manitowoc County will be honoring the memory of two former county board supervisors who died recently.
According to County Executive Bob Ziegelbauer, Lee Braunel passed away on December 30th.
Braunel was on the county board in the 1990s and also served on the Manitowoc Public School District Board of Education.
In honor of his service to Manitowoc County, flags on county buildings will be flown at half-staff on the day of his funeral, this Friday January 6th.
Also, Thomas Hein died on December 20th after having served District 4 on the county board between 1992 and 1996.
To honor Hein’s service, Ziegelbauer said the county flags will be at half-staff on the day of his funeral, January 12th.
